Another biker hurt on bumpy Sanpada flyover
Navi Mumbai/Kalyan: A biker, Arun Dubey (39), lost control and crashed into a divider due to bumps on a Sanpada flyover while travelling from Vashi toward Belapur at 4am on Friday. He sustained grievous injuries and has been admitted to Dr DY Patil hospital in Nerul.
Meanwhile, angered by repeated pothole-related accidents in Kalyan, citizens protested by distributing sugar to civic officials and visitors to the KDMC headquarters, claiming they were lucky to have reached the office without suffering injuries dueo to potholes. KDMC commissioner Govind Bodke has given senior officials two days to come up with ward-wise figures of potholes and fill them. Bodke told TOI, “We are taking all steps so that potholes are filled as soon as possible.”
