Unnao: Sengar chargesheeted for framing father of victim
Lucknow/New Delhi: The CBI on Friday filed the third chargesheet in the Unnao rape case in a special CBI court in Lucknow and named 10 people, including BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, for falsely implicating the minor rape survivor’s father in an Arms Act case.
The nine others include station house officer Ashok Singh Bhadauriya, SI Kamta Prasad and constable Amir Khan, all of Makhi police station in Unnao; the MLA’s brother Atul Singh Sengar, Tinku Singh, Vinay Mishra, Bauwa Singh, Sonu Singh and Suman Singh.
The CBI has framed charges under Sections 166, 167, 193, 201, 218 read with Section 120B of IPC and Section 3/25 of Arms Act. Except the MLA’s brother and constable Amir Khan, the other accused are in jail. Sengar, fourtime MLA from Bangarmau, was chargesheeted for allegedly raping the minor girl at his residence last year. The agency has claimed that the local police did not register an FIR. The girl’s father was booked by the police on allegations of brandishing a pistol and put in prison when he filed a case.
