“He went into hiding after a team was formed to track him. In July this year Vicky had dragged his rival Rahul out of his house in Swaroop Nagar and stabbed him to death,” said Joy Tirkey, DCP (crime).

On Thursday night police received information that Vicky will come to Rohini to meet someone. A trap was laid and when Vicky arrived on a scooty, a police team intercepted him. Vicky tried to open fire from a country made pistol but was overpowered by officers. Pistols and several rounds were recovered from him. Vicky later told police that he was fascinated with tattoos and spent most of his booty on getting his body inked from expensive shops in south and central Delhi. Most of his tattoos were related to snakes and skulls.
