ED at­taches Virb­hadra’s 5.6cr as­sets

New Delhi: The En­force­ment Di­rec­torate at­tached as­sets worth about Rs 5.6 crore be­long­ing to Hi­machal Pradesh chief min­is­ter Virb­hadra Singh on Fri­day, tak­ing the value of as­sets at­tached so far in his case to Rs 40 crore.

The as­sets have been at­tached in a money laun­der­ing case reg­is­tered on the ba­sis of CBI’s dis­pro­por­tion­ate as­sets case against Singh.

The fresh at­tach­ment in­cludes Rs 4.2 crore from a por­tion of a farm­house in Dera Mandi, Delhi, in the name of Tarini In­ter­na­tional; fixed as­sets of Tarini In­fra Da­man­ganga project at Vapi, Gu­jarat; shares worth Rs 64 lakh in the name of son Vikra­ma­ditya Singh and Rs 80 lakh in FDs and bank ac­counts of fam­ily mem­bers.
