Cops thrashed for flag­ging down rash driver

New Delhi: Two po­lice­men were thrashed by oc­cu­pants of two cars at Anand Vi­har bus stand when they were made to stop their cars for rash driv­ing. The ac­cused, Lalit, Uphar and Tarun, were caught by passersby who then handed them over to the po­lice.

One of the wit­nesses made a PCR call about the in­ci­dent, fol­low­ing which a team rushed to the spot and took the ac­cused men in cus­tody.

The vic­tims, ASI Kr­is­han­lal and con­sat­ble Vikas, said they had stopped the cars to take chal­lan when the ac­cused thrashed them.
