Crack­down on Grameen Sewa

Tues­day, Delhi govern­ment’s trans­port de­part­ment is go­ing to crack down on Grameen Sewa ve­hi­cles. The en­force­ment wing will pros­e­cute Grameen Sewa ve­hi­cles op­er­at­ing with­out valid per­mits and func­tional GPS de­vice. It is manda­tory for all pub­lic ve­hi­cles to have GPS so that they can be tracked eas­ily. GIMME RED: Three

peo­ple were ar­rested for run­ning a lo­cal bet­ting syn­di­cate in Shah­dara on the on­go­ing IPL matches. The ac­cused were us­ing the bet­ting as­sis­tant ap­pli­ca­tion to place bets, DCP (Shah­dara) Nupur Prasad said. The ac­cused, Nikhil Goyal, Dheeraj and Shekhar Gandhi, have been booked un­der the gam­bling Act.
