Fol­low the dig­i­tal wave

Hav­ing re­coded a sig­nif­i­cant growth in busi­ness in 2017, Akash Trav­els plans to fol­low the dig­i­tal revo­lu­tion and be­come an on­line travel plat­form soon to of­fer book­ings for flights, ho­tels and hol­i­day pack­ages on the go.

Akash Trav­els plans to go the dig­i­tal way by mak­ing their com­pany an on­line travel por­tal. This move will al­low their cus­tomers to book flights, ho­tels, hol­i­day pack­ages and all other travel ac­ces­sories on a sin­gle plat­form. “We are mak­ing use of au­to­mated travel soft­ware to cre­ate pack­ages faster and with sim­plic­ity so that the re­sponse time to a query of the cus­tomer is less and the cus­tomer can be pro­vided with a quote in real time,” says Akash Agar­wal, Pro­pri­etor, Akash Trav­els. Agar­wal feels that it is the spe­cial at­ten­tion to de­tail that makes one tour prefer­able to another. He says, “Akash Trav­els is ea­ger to of­fer top level ser­vices to our val­ued guests. We sug­gest that one should con­sider the ad­di­tional ben­e­fits and value we have to of­fer over and above the de­liv­er­ables when com­par­ing our prod­ucts with those of other op­er­a­tors.” He ap­peals to the travel in­dus­try to al­low for a level play­ing field to make space for com­pa­nies of all sizes to do busi­ness.

Agar­wal be­lieves that tourism is an im­por­tant pil­lar for the econ­omy of al­most ev­ery coun­try. While some coun­tries have done well in terms of this sec­tor, oth­ers need to pull up their socks to do bet­ter. “In case of the tourism sec­tor in In­dia, the In­cred­i­ble In­dia cam­paign will be in­stru­men­tal in boost­ing in­bound seg­ment of travel. We need to cre­ate an en­vi­ron­ment for valu­able and com­pre­hen­sive in­for­ma­tion cou­pled with an ag­gres­sive mar­ket­ing strat­egy to boost in­bound tourism,” adds Agar­wal.

On the mar­ket­ing front, the com­pany plans to launch its TV promo soon. Other forms of mar­ket­ing and pro­mo­tional plans in­clude col­lab­o­ra­tion with var­i­ous me­dia plat­forms and par­tic­i­pa­tion in travel trade shows and ex­hi­bi­tions. The com­pany also en­gages in SEO mar­ket­ing, Google Ad mar­ket­ing and mar­ket­ing through so­cial me­dia plat­forms.
