Growth in net­work with in­creased in­ven­tory

Hav­ing re­ceived a to­tal of 1.3 mil­lion pas­sen­gers in 2017, Kuwait Airways ex­pects to ex­ceed the 4.5 mil­lion mark in 2018, in­forms Shorouk Al-Awadi, Di­rec­tor of Strate­gic Net­work Plan­ning, Kuwait Airways. “Dur­ing 2017, the air­line re­ceived 10 B777-300ER air­craft with brand new tech­nol­ogy. We are plan­ning to in­duct new Air­bus - A320, A321 and A350 air­craft within the next five years to en­hance the sched­ule with more prof­itable routes and des­ti­na­tions,” says Al-Awadi. She also re­veals that Kuwait Airways has an Amadeus Book­ing En­gine Sys­tem in­te­grated with all de­part­ments and sys­tems to fa­cil­i­tate its reser­va­tion mech­a­nism with new tools and meth­ods for the Hol­i­days and Oa­sis de­part­ments.
