Sus­pended ear­lier to take route as­sess­ment ini­tia­tives, Philip­pine Air­lines will re­sume flights be­tween Abu Dhabi and Manila from Oct 31.

Ef­fec­tive Oc­to­ber 31, 2017, the Philip­pine Air­lines will re­sume its non-stop thrice weekly ser­vice be­tween Abu Dhabi to Manila to cope with the ever-in­creas­ing de­mand. In May 2017, the air­line had an­nounced tem­po­rary sus­pen­sion of its ser­vice on the route to pave way for ‘route as­sess­ment ini­tia­tives’.

The air­line will re­sume its PR656/657 flights on their same sched­ule as be­fore, on Tues­days, Thurs­days and Satur­days. PR656 will de­part from Manila at 11.45 am and ar­rive in Abu Dhabi at 5.45 pm and PR657 will leave Abu Dhabi at 7.30 pm and land in Manila at 8.50 am the next day. The largest Filipino car­rier serv­ing the UAE mar­ket also an­nounced that by the end of the year, pas­sen­gers of th­ese flights can en­joy Busi­ness Class seats. The bi-class ser­vice (busi­ness and econ­omy) will be avail­able across all the Mid­dle East routes, pro­vid­ing pas­sen­gers on board ameni­ties and free bag­gage al­lowance.
