Eti­had Code­share Agree­ments

Eti­had Air­ways which has an eq­uity sta­tus in Jet Air­ways, Air Ber­lin and Al­i­talia has ex­panded its code­share agree­ment with Hong Kong Air­lines, gain­ing reg­u­la­tory ap­proval to code­share on nine ad­di­tional routes. Eti­had will place its codes on Hong Kong Air­lines’ sched­uled flights be­tween Chek Lap Kok and Auckland. Hong Kong Air­lines has placed its code on Eti­had Air­ways’ flights be­tween Abu Dhabi and Paris, Düs­sel­dorf, Frank­furt, Manch­ester, Mi­lan, Mu­nich, New York and Zürich.

Mean­while, Eti­had Cargo has launched three new freighter ser­vices in Europe, fly­ing Boe­ing 777Fs from East Mid­lands and Stansted in the UK and from Copen­hagen in Den­mark. Eti­had Cargo also op­er­ates main deck ca­pac­ity from Am­s­ter­dam, Frank­furt (Frank­furt Main and Frank­furt-Hahn), Mi­lan, Brus­sels and Zar­goza.

Air As­tana has taken de­liv­ery of its first Air­bus A320­neo ac­quired from Air Lease Cor­po­ra­tion which is one of 11 A320 neo Fam­ily air­craft con­tracted for by the Kazakh air­line. Con­fig­ured in a two-class lay­out, with 16 Busi­ness Class seats and 132 in Econ­omy, Air As­tana al­ready op­er­ates a fleet of 13 A320ceo Fam­ily air­craft on the car­rier’s do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional net­work.
