The brand opened its first Flag­ship store at Phoenix Mar­ket City, Ban­ga­lore and mea­sures 200sqm. The store is de­signed and ex­e­cuted on the lines of the global Gant iden­tity.

Gant is a Swedish cloth­ing brand of Amer­i­can her­itage which orig­i­nated in New Haven in 1949. The brand has since then, with the in­flu­ence of Eu­ro­pean styles, grown into an es­tab­lished global fash­ion brand. At one point back in the 60’s, Gant was the sec­ond largest shirt maker in the world. To­day Gant's prod­ucts are avail­able in multi-branded and its ex­clu­sive brand out­lets through­out the world of­fer­ing cloth­ing for men, women, kids and babies for cat­e­gories like Fash­ion Ap­parel, Footwear, in­ner­wear, Fra­grance, Time wear, Eye­wear and Home. The re­cent Gant store at Phoenix Mar­ket City, Ban­ga­lore, is a phys­i­cal ren­di­tion of the brand’s life­style im­age through its new con­cept store de­sign which is a com­bi­na­tion of vin­tage and con­tem­po­rary style. It of­fers ca­sual tra­di­tional ele­gance set in a homely at­mos­phere con­cep­tu­al­ized with the use of qual­ity ma­te­ri­als that are el­e­gant, sooth­ing, calm and gen­uine. The use of con­trast­ing shades of brown and off-white add warmth and com­fort to the store en­vi­ron­ment. The store fur­ni­ture and fix­tures con­cept is a blend of vin­tage and con­tem­po­rary style. The home set­ting is cre­ated with ef­fec­tive use of vis­ual mer­chan­dis­ing props like large trunks, sofa sets, wardrobes, flower vases and pic­ture frames on the wall. The store main door has been set in to en­hance the store front and also im­prove the vis­i­bil­ity of the store and create a grander main en­trance into it. The store front has two closed back win­dows and a back-lit life­style su­per graphic. Style man­nequins and props present a co­or­di­nated fash­ion wardrobe of the brand. The brand logo is made of router cut metal let­ters edge-lit with LED lights used for edge light­ing ef­fect. The store in­te­rior con­cept is de­signed in a home con­cept pal­ette of par­quet wooden floor­ing, wooden slat­ted fea­ture walls, wooden rafter ceil­ing, and in­set mer­chan­dis­ing wardrobes, wooden fur­ni­ture and floor cov­er­ing rugs. A back­lit ar­ti­fi­cial sky­light above the cash counter gives vis­ual re­lief and highlights the cash counter pre­sen­ta­tion. Decorative Pen­dent lights add to the home dé­cor and add ac­cent to fo­cal points and seat­ing lounges inside the store.
