Adi­das goes full throt­tle by col­lab­o­rat­ing with in its ‘Porsche De­sign Orig­i­nal’ cam­paign fea­tured in its store. The con­cept is adapted in its win­dows and mer­chan­dise walls where che­quered flags, speedome­ters and car al­loys cre­ate a visual pre­sen­ta­tion that spell power and speed.

Two iconic brands, Adi­das Orig­i­nals and Porche, bring speed, power and clas­sic styles into sports in­spired fash­ion pro­moted through their new win­dow de­sign con­cept. Their new col­lec­tion is in­spired by the iconic el­e­ments of Porsche rac­ing blended with the con­tem­po­rary de­sign and tech­nol­ogy of Adi­das. “The cre­ative theme strongly brings up­front the as­so­ci­a­tion of the two stylish brands Adi­das Orig­i­nals and Porsche,” says Priyanka Sachdeva, Man­ager – Visual Mer­chan­dis­ing, Adi­das In­dia.

“The leg­endary de­sign in­spi­ra­tion in­duced in the ap­parel and footwear con­struc­tion is tran­scribed with con­tem­po­rary ca­sual cre­ative el­e­ments in the win­dow and in-store com­mu­ni­ca­tion. TBWA de­sign agency came up with the con­cept based on the bases of briefing pro­vided to them,” she adds.

The win­dow set­ting com­bines rac­ing and sports with the use of iconic props and graph­ics that com­ple­ment the sports and rac­ing in­spired fash­ion fea­tured on man­nequins.

“The win­dow dis­plays are ac­cen­tu­ated by the use of fo­cus row lights that high­light the key de­sign el­e­ments. Ac­tual pre­mium car al­loys and tyres are used to main­tain the con­cept po­si­tion­ing. Speedome­ter care­fully com­bined with key con­cept vi­su­als is used as main fo­cal back­ground com­plet­ing the look and feel of the win­dow. The race flag is done in clear vinyl giv­ing the win­dow a con­cept of fin­ish­ing edge,” ex­plains Priyanka.

The ‘Porsche De­sign Orig­i­nal’ visual cam­paign theme is ex­tended in-store in the footwear wall with at­trac­tive POS com­mu­ni­ca­tion to draw at­ten­tion to the prod­ucts in that col­lec­tion.

This cam­paign is planned to be fea­tured in stores with the on­set of new sea­son FW’12 start­ing from mid-au­gust, which will last for a pe­riod of 45 days
