Shoppers Stop unveiled its Autumn Winter fashion collection in its store in a unique theme that drew attention to three fashion statements with the creative use of common materials like wood, drapes and tree branches in different configurations in its ins
“T he Autumn-Winter season is of special significance to the business as it’s a season for festivities and celebration and also for achieving higher top line targets. The themes for the window installations are decided based on the “merchandise availability and seasonality of the overall store themes,” says Arden J. Dsouza, Head - Visual Merchandising at Shoppers Stop.
This season there are three distinct merchandise categories that have been focussed on- the Western wear, Ethnic wear and the Home
collection. “Using drapes with warm wooded feel as key elements, the windows invite customers to our new merchandise lines in the store to rediscover clothes, accessories, collectibles and furniture,” explains Arden. The windows themes installations use various combinations of props like wood slat lamps, recycled discarded mango crates, tree branches and old restored chairs to create different displays to complement the three different fashion stories. The window concept was extended inside the stores in focal points to draw attention to accessory clusters. The window concept in Shopper Stop is called 'Autumn Winter launch' where as Home Stop window is referred as ‘Vintage Love’ and is
