Shop­pers Stop un­veiled its Au­tumn Win­ter fash­ion col­lec­tion in its store in a unique theme that drew at­ten­tion to three fash­ion state­ments with the cre­ative use of com­mon ma­te­ri­als like wood, drapes and tree branches in dif­fer­ent con­fig­u­ra­tions in its ins


“T he Au­tumn-Win­ter sea­son is of spe­cial sig­nif­i­cance to the busi­ness as it’s a sea­son for fes­tiv­i­ties and cel­e­bra­tion and also for achiev­ing higher top line tar­gets. The themes for the win­dow in­stal­la­tions are de­cided based on the “mer­chan­dise avail­abil­ity and sea­son­al­ity of the over­all store themes,” says Ar­den J. Dsouza, Head - Visual Mer­chan­dis­ing at Shop­pers Stop.

This sea­son there are three dis­tinct mer­chan­dise cat­e­gories that have been fo­cussed on- the Western wear, Eth­nic wear and the Home

col­lec­tion. “Us­ing drapes with warm wooded feel as key el­e­ments, the win­dows in­vite cus­tomers to our new mer­chan­dise lines in the store to re­dis­cover clothes, ac­ces­sories, col­lectibles and fur­ni­ture,” ex­plains Ar­den. The win­dows themes in­stal­la­tions use var­i­ous com­bi­na­tions of props like wood slat lamps, re­cy­cled dis­carded mango crates, tree branches and old re­stored chairs to cre­ate dif­fer­ent dis­plays to com­ple­ment the three dif­fer­ent fash­ion sto­ries. The win­dow con­cept was ex­tended inside the stores in fo­cal points to draw at­ten­tion to ac­ces­sory clus­ters.
