Har­vey Ni­chols spruces up for the Hol­i­days

Har­vey Ni­chols re­cently re­fur­bished sev­eral ar­eas in its Knights­bridge store with the ob­jec­tive of en­hanc­ing the in-store shop­ping ex­pe­ri­ence with a wider va­ri­ety of pre­mium fash­ion brands. The In­ter­na­tional floor, the Azze­dine Alaia bou­tique, has tripled in size and be­come a “World Of” mer­chan­dis­ing shoes, bags, belts along­side the leg­endary fit flare dresses. Be­ing the largest in Europe at 1000 sq ft, the bou­tique takes on a min­i­mal­ist and mono­chrome look with nat­u­ral light flood­ing through a dif­fu­sion screen. A plush and lux­u­ri­ous seat­ing area gives the cus­tomer a chance to re­lax and make the most of their ex­pe­ri­ence. On the first floor, the shoe de­part­ment is re­vamped to look clean with me­tal­lic touches such as the sil­ver cen­tral seat­ing bench and cop­per shelv­ing. Gold rimmed shelves of dif­fer­ent heights al­low ev­ery shoe from a bal­le­rina to an over the knee boot to be dis­played. Adorned in a wal­nut fin­ish, the till point sits within the mid­dle of the space draw­ing the cus­tomer in. On the sec­ond floor, in the De­signer Col­lec­tions, brand Tory Burch now features its own bou­tique while DKNY and Herno have re­fit­ted theirs. On the third floor, the Denim gallery has been ex­panded to the en­tire length of the floor. The new space show­cases the range of prod­ucts with the key styles high­lighted - boyfriend fit, straight, skinny, boot cut, flare and jeg­ging. For SS13 Har­vey Ni­chols plans an ex­clu­sive col­lab­o­ra­tion with AG Jeans and celebrity stylist Cher Coul­ter as well as Mary Ka­trant­zou X Cur­rent El­liot. The store has also re-launched the largest Alice & Olivia bou­tique in UK, sell­ing Stacey Ben­dets shoes, party dresses and wardrobe sta­ples. Speak­ing on the space Stacey Ben­det, says, "I wanted the shop to feel like a lit­tle glimpse into my home, into the world of Alice + Olivia...colour, crazi­ness, and all!" The store also has a re­vamped lin­gerie de­part­ment, which boasts of new flat­ter­ing light­ing, plush pur­ple vel­vets and new fix­tures to cre­ate a lux­u­ri­ous yet warm shop­ping ex­pe­ri­ence. This re­mod­elling of the store has seen the brands like Stella McCart­ney Fauve and Spanx see sig­nif­i­cant boost in sales
