!FAST In­vis­i­ble anti- theft tags


Anew cat­e­gory of Elec­tronic Ar­ti­cle Sur­veil­lance (EAS) for the re­tail and fash­ion in­dus­try: the In­vis­i­ble tag, has been un­veiled by Nedap Re­tail in part­ner­ship with Kovio, Inc. This tag can be in­vis­i­bly em­bed­ded into re­tail prod­ucts and can be de­ac­ti­vated per­ma­nently at point of sale (POS), thus im­prov­ing over­all brand ex­pe­ri­ence. !FaST , once de­ac­ti­vated will not re­ac­ti­vate due to the wear­ing or clean­ing of gar­ments or wear­ing of shoes. As a re­sult, cus­tomer will no longer face the em­bar­rass­ment of trig­ger­ing the anti-theft alarm sys­tems of re­tail stores long af­ter a prod­uct has been pur­chased like in the case of tra­di­tional EAS la­bels.
