Ar­row as a brand has al­ways been map­ping con­sumer needs and hence of­fer­ing prod­ucts that fit in to the life­style of the work­ing pro­fes­sional. In In­dia, we no­ticed the trend of young peo­ple just get­ting into the cor­po­rate arena hav­ing a very in­di­vid­u­al­is­tic taste. They don’t nec­es­sar­ily want to con­form in their dress­ing. To ful­fill the cur­rent need gap in the mar­ket, Ar­row re­cently launched ‘Ar­row New York’ Zero Calo­rie Work Wear – fash­ion­able for­mal wear with slim lean fits and in­ter­na­tional styling, and we are notic­ing a good trac­tion for this al­ready.

Ar­rival of FDI

Open­ing up of FDI in Re­tail will def­i­nitely ben­e­fit the con­sumer – with a greater va­ri­ety of prod­ucts and in­creased con­sumer choices.

Look­ing Ahead: 2013

In terms of re­tail, it will be all about pro­vid­ing the cus­tomer with a su­pe­rior ex­pe­ri­ence – whether it is about of­fer­ing prod­uct de­signs that are at par with in­ter­na­tional trends, cus­tom­ized ser­vices or ed­u­cat­ing them on in­no­va­tions in the cat­e­gory.
