The Mediterranean Escapade

Louis Philippe, a fashion brand from Madura Garments, announced its spring summer collection with a contemporary window display.

The new window from Louis Philippe speaks of modernity, new lines, lightness and colours. It is an expression of a refined, unconstrained and richly detailed sense of elegance for cosmopolitan men who are accustomed to travelling and open to the appeal of different cultures, but without ever losing sight of their own roots and style. The window is a combination of back-drop graphics of walls and doors, natural shoulders and shorter proportions mannequins depicting the living homes of Tuscany, a region in Italy known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy and its permanent influence on high culture. “The collection is inspired by the miracle of Italy and France. All its treasures come packaged in a gorgeous country of majestic mountains, placid lakes, idyllic islands, splendid cities and wonderful walled villages. Combining the classic taste with measured traces of non-conformity and constructing an aesthetic awareness that enables to challenge the conventional bringing in a touch of the sun, sea and rustic beauty of Italy with colours like coral sunny yellow and turquoise ties the whole range together,” says Siddhesh Sidharthan, Regional VM, Louis Philippe. Although the Visual Merchandising within store is more focussed on selling the lifestyle clusters, traces of the expressionism concept have been used to bring in continuity with the window display’s subtle communication. The lighting has been kept yellow in order to synchronize with the store interiors. The theme has been extended throughout the store. Specific walls have been decided for the collection display in order to draw the attention to the summer collection. The theme is up in 150 stores pan India except the LP Sport exclusive stores
