Mélange of Pak Labels
Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) launched its first standalone boutique in the capital at South Extension in New Delhi featuring the best of Pakistani bridal and formal wear to Indian consumers.
Established in September 2006, PFDC started its endeavor with a membership of 30 designers, which now has turned into an alliance of more than 50 designers from all over Pakistan. Illuminating with the aura of Pakistani mode, PFDC – The Boulevard offers a wide range of designs, cuts, embroidery and colors to the Indian market. The store, spread over 5,500 sq ft, is a blend of contemporary design lines and mogul art forms and patterns. The design concepts are inspired from intricate embroidery and prints celebrating the exclusive craftsmanship of Pakistan in the store environment. The store concept is ‘house of labels’ wherein individual spaces have been created for each designer to express their design and presentation identity. The store houses 18
