Designed by JGA, Scamp and Scoundrel is a unique retail destination located in Miracle Mile Shops at Las Vegas, especially for style mavens and rebellious ingénues. The unique environment that reflects the “found and gathered, yet curated” style is aptly captured in the brand outlet.
Spread across an area of 1,082 square feet, the shop offers an assorted blend of fashion jewellery, gifts and accessories that ranges from glitz and leather, metals and resin to trendy statement and high-end pieces. The front facade or exterior gives a series of visibility points into the space, each highlighted by a feature table that consists of a collection of shapes, elements, furniture and props, and accessories that support the collected character of the overall brand. Some of these pieces were found at local flea markets and others interpreted in a clean, simplified way by borrowing their proportions and character from vintage for providing fresh and clean expression. The perimeter of the store is highlighted by antique Venetian-styled mirrors that added dimension, sparkle and depth to the retail space. These mirror elements are punctuated with a series of shadow-boxes with patterns allowing to highlight individual themes and stories in horizontal, vertical, square, or rectangular configurations for the best product display possibilities. These boxes are internally illuminated and provide a bright beacon, particularly on the store walls to draw the customer through the store. The series of folding screens extend the shadow-box
