Sisley goes Venetian

VM&RD - - WINDOW DISPLAY -

Sisley, a sub-brand from United Colors of Benetton, has unveiled its new visual display which is inspired by the Venetian windows of Italy.

It’s all about spring unfolding into summer evoking the freshness of blooming flowers, bird songs and fences and thus completing a postcard picture of rural Italy. Welcome to the new Sisley window, which highlights the brand’s new collection. The brand’s new collection is divided into three distinct segments- Causal, Formal and Functional and the idea behind the new window is to highlight these with a bold statement inspired by the Venetian windows of Italy. “We wanted the collection to look vibrant so that it can speak aloud but at the same time give a relaxed feel of a garden and soothing horticulture. In a fast paced urban life the feeling of nostalgia and recollection of the romantic window decoration of Italy with unforeseen contrasting colors was considered important. The communication over a conventional post box in a distinct color of season was intended to denote subtle distinction from the rest," informs Animesh Ikshit, Senior General Manager Projects
