Gimi In­dia, a sub­sidiary of Gimi SpA an Ital­ian house­ware man­u­fac­tur­ing com­pany, an­nounced that it plans on in­vest­ments to cre­ate su­pe­rior qual­ity and in­no­va­tive prod­ucts that suit the re­quire­ment of their In­dian cus­tomers. Ajit Chel­la­pan, Gen­eral Man­ager, Gimi In­dia in­forms, “Gimi’s and Framer's unique prod­uct port­fo­lios in In­dia will dif­fer from the gen­eral com­pany as cer­tain prod­ucts will be specif­i­cally de­signed for the In­dian mar­ket. This home need cat­e­gory is in a nascent stage here, though there is a great scope of growth in this coun­try with the ris­ing eco­nomic power in the hands of the younger gen­er­a­tion. Thus the price range also has been kept in an ac­com­moda­tive man­ner for all our prod­ucts. Gimi In­dia will be hav­ing dis­trib­u­tor net­works pan In­dia head­quar­tered in Ban­ga­lore with lo­gis­ti­cal op­er­a­tion part­ner­ships across New Delhi & Mum­bai.” Gimi’s prod­ucts such as clothes dry­ers, iron­ing boards, lad­ders and shop­ping trol­ley sec­tors are ex­ported to 80 coun­tries around the world in­clud­ing Rus­sia, Ger­many, France, Spain, Balkans, East Europe and now in In­dia.
