Louis Philippe launched it new premium collection called ‘Gods & Kings’ in a dramatic themed window display based on the king of strategy games.
The premium brand’s ‘Gods & Kings’ collection celebrates style and power in impressions communicated distinctly through a theme. “With the launch of our new product line, Gods & Kings, the brand thought of presenting this category which has been very well accepted by the consumers over the years. We believe that Louis Philippe Gods & Kings is for the gentleman who rules the world and so we related the same to the essence of the game of chess, which not only signifies power and authority but also connects with those distinct personalities who draw up strategies and execute the same in their fields. This is more to depict a certain lifestyle in a symbolic manner, where the impact of the window stays in the consumers mind,” says Divya Krishna, Manager VM, Concepts & Creative's, Louis Philippe. The window installation features the collection in a setting of the powerful King placed among others like the Horse and Pawn. “The key elements of the window revolve around the essence of a royal personage when you dress in Louis Philippe and then the game of chess,” further adds Divya. The dramatic setting was constructed from special bust forms that combined the traditional formal bust and the chess coin made from FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), eco solvent graphic and foam board cubes that added depth to the display. Other chess coins like the Horse and the Pawn are also created out of FRP. “This window is an exceptional window where we have treated it more like an art installation than regular windows, and the same is visible in the details of each chess coin, which has been sculpted with utmost detailing,” shares Divya.
