Sil­ver lin­ing in Kirigami


Dur­ing this fes­tive and wed­ding sea­son Balzo, the sil­ver jew­ellery brand, at­tracted its tar­get cus­tomers through an in­no­va­tive win­dow dis­play fea­tur­ing a flo­ral pat­tern theme.

Balzo, a new en­trant to the sil­ver jew­ellery re­tail seg­ment, re­cently cre­ated an at­trac­tive win­dow dis­play this fes­tive sea­son in their two flag­ship stores at Wa­ter Field Road, Ban­dra and R-City Mall in Mum­bai. Con­cep­tu­alised and ex­e­cuted by Vi­sion Board Stu­dio, the theme of fes­tiv­ity has been put for­ward with a twist. Balzo be­ing a sil­ver jew­ellery store needed a theme close to the woman’s heart and at the same time evoke a fes­tive feel. “We were given the lib­erty to do a fes­tive dis­play for the sea­son; the only brief was to use brand colours. As the prod­uct is the hero we didn’t want to over­power it, we needed muted back­drops in brand colours to en­hance the dis­play. Hence we de­cided to use flow­ers as our theme, rep­re­sented through Kirigami, a Ja­panese pa­per art. Back­drops were cre­ated us­ing Kirigami in brand colours to en­hance the prod­uct on dis­play, We at the stu­dio love to use dif­fer­ent ma­te­ri­als and tech­niques while do­ing up the win­dows and try to use in­no­va­tive con­cepts and re­search be­fore de­sign­ing a win­dow or a space,” shares, Aditi M.Ko­tak, Owner – Vi­sion Board Stu­dio. The win­dow dis­play will be on till mid Fe­bru­ary be­fore chang­ing for Valen­tine’s Day
