Silver lining in Kirigami
During this festive and wedding season Balzo, the silver jewellery brand, attracted its target customers through an innovative window display featuring a floral pattern theme.
Balzo, a new entrant to the silver jewellery retail segment, recently created an attractive window display this festive season in their two flagship stores at Water Field Road, Bandra and R-City Mall in Mumbai. Conceptualised and executed by Vision Board Studio, the theme of festivity has been put forward with a twist. Balzo being a silver jewellery store needed a theme close to the woman’s heart and at the same time evoke a festive feel. “We were given the liberty to do a festive display for the season; the only brief was to use brand colours. As the product is the hero we didn’t want to overpower it, we needed muted backdrops in brand colours to enhance the display. Hence we decided to use flowers as our theme, represented through Kirigami, a Japanese paper art. Backdrops were created using Kirigami in brand colours to enhance the product on display, We at the studio love to use different materials and techniques while doing up the windows and try to use innovative concepts and research before designing a window or a space,” shares, Aditi M.Kotak, Owner – Vision Board Studio. The window display will be on till mid February before changing for Valentine’s Day
