White Christmas Celebrations!

Shoppers Stop yet again draws attention to their stores and delights customers this festive season with a stunning Christmas celebration window campaign that features Fashion, Party and Home themes across the Shoppers Stop and Homestop chain.

Our focus this year is on a rich and very sophisticated Christmas: poetic, elegant, dreamy, natural…a variety of textures, materials and props dusted in shades of whites, silvers highlighted with hints of blues, reds, pinks and green. Propping has been done right from cute polar bear, to moving reindeers, dancing Santa’s and DIY features within the displays as our themes are global in outlook yet possess enough spice to entice our customers. The Christmas theme was designed to involve customers & ensure they take home a memory,” shares Arden J D’souza, Customer Care Associate & Head Visual Merchandising, Shoppers Stop Limited. A big highlight in the store display was the design and installation of a giant Santa Claus cap in the store front of their Flagship stores. “The thought that we should have a customer stop, smile, say cheese & have their photograph clicked was a clear motivator to create these windows & displays. This display alone is the largest display of a Santa cap in the world. It was done and opened to customers on 12.12.12 at 12:12:12 pm. and we have done 4 such caps across India in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Hyderabad. Christmas being the holiday season for West, is the largest celebration time for people. It’s the time when you look forward to spending quality time with friends & relatives. Many people travel back home to their native towns. These displays we’ve done are hence traditional in approach with a modern approach,” further explains Arden. The Christmas window campaign features three main themes- fashion, party and home celebration. The themes are combinations of inspirations from various celebrations and planned as integrated windows for Shoppers Stop and Homestop. The Fashion windows feature party collections on a group of stylized mannequins in a white winter setting with monochromatic props and a graphic backdrop of a Christmas winter night. The party theme is set in an abstract party scene with mannequins dressed for a party complemented with props of speakers and strobe light graphics.
