Living up to its brand proposition (“Makes fine living affordable), the Spencer’s Hyper at Axis Mall, Kolkata, was revamped to offer a differentiated shopping experience for its customers, offering not just products but also lifestyle solutions.
The new store design offers an ambience for people who want to lead a gourmet lifestyle and who take delight in discovering new cuisines – both local and international and products that enhance their lifestyle.
In the store, Spencer’s VM team has created ‘Hubs’ for all the important categories namely fresh food (Epicusine); Fashion & Home which forms the focus of attention in the category on the shop floor. Wider aisles have been created around the hubs in order to facilitate hassle free and easy movement for the shoppers.
Introducing ‘ Epicuisine’, an amalgamation of the word ‘Epicure’ & ‘Cuisine’, this section offers cuisines from across the world in one place, ready for consumption or meal solutions for cooking convenience.
The personal care section takes on the look of a salon with experience zone, makeover areas, testing counters, new arrival sections and stylish beauty counters. Further, the fashion hub, located at the heart of the section has stylized counters, mannequins sporting ‘look of the day’ and easy access trial rooms.
The entire store has been ‘V Mised’ by displaying the products thematically keeping ‘source to use’ in mind in all visual representations. Maximum use of vivid colours, earthy materials and 3D props have been instrumental in creating realistic displays in sections such as dairy, beverages, f&v chillers, entry hotspot and fashion focal points
