The ob­jec­tive of the win­dow dis­play was to show­case the widest va­ri­ety of jack­ets in store start­ing from all kinds from puffers to sports, ca­su­als, faux leathers and down fur jack­ets. The aim was to high­light the feel of best win­ter wear with a homely warm en­vi­ron­ment.

For con­cep­tu­al­is­ing the de­sign strat­egy a lit­tle bit of his­tory had to be dug and a lit­tle bit of mar­ket re­search done to el­e­vate the ex­ist­ing warm en­vi­ron­ment. Allen Solly orig­i­nated from Not­ting­ham, United King­dom and that had been com­mu­ni­cated loudly. The key words used were: win­ters, UK, warm, vi­brancy and va­ri­ety. Each word was played around and was drawn in sym­bols for rep­re­sen­ta­tion and yet by amal­ga­mat­ing the ob­jec­tive, the per­fect in­ter­pre­ta­tion in the dis­play was achieved.

The key el­e­ments used for the styling of the man­nequins com­prised hats, guns, mous­taches (for males) and the coloured lay­ered win­ter jack­ets with black pants to bring out the theme. The brand colours at the back­drop through the graph­i­cal in­ter­pre­ta­tion of the Union Jack brought life to the dis­play. Each el­e­ment con­trib­uted to com­plete the en­tire look of the win­dow dis­play
