This win­dow dis­play has been de­signed for a spe­cific prod­uct line named ‘Gods & Kings’ by Louis Philippe, a line that cel­e­brates ex­tra­or­di­nary men of rare breed­ing and so­phis­ti­ca­tion. For Louis Philippe Gods & Kings prod­uct line the theme was to high­light the fact that it is aimed at the gen­tle­man who rules the world.

The idea was to re­late it to the game of chess, which not only sig­ni­fies power and author­ity, but also con­nects with distin­guished in­di­vid­u­als who chart strate­gies and ex­e­cute the same. Thus it was done more to de­pict a cer­tain life­style in a sym­bolic man­ner, where the im­pact of the win­dow stays in the con­sumer’s mind. Key el­e­ments of the win­dow con­vey the idea of stand­ing out like a king when dressed in Louis Philippe. Chess coins like king, horse & pawns have been in­cor­po­rated to fur­ther con­nect the mer­chan­dise with the re­sul­tant meta­mor­pho­sis.

Tech­ni­cal fit­tings like the bust form and the coin of king were both made of FRP (Fiber re­in­forced plas­tic) with eco sol­vent print on vinyl for back­drops & sun-board cubes for giv­ing a 3d look, along with other chess coins like horse & pawn which were also made out of FRP.

This con­cept of win­dow dis­play was ex­tended in­side the stores on nest­ing ta­bles along and a des­ig­nated wall sport­ing black & white mer­chan­dise alone
