Forever New launches 3rd store in Kolkata
Forever New, the fashion clothing and accessories brand from Melbourne, which opened its first store in India in 2007, recently with an aim to expand its style footprints further in the City of Joy, launched their third store in Kolkata at Quest Mall. Spread across 1188 sq. ft, the store is all prepared to provide an exhilarating shopping experience with the latest in International fashion and trends. The brand has brought to the city a gorgeous mix of apparels, bags, shoes and accessories for the discerning fashionistas of Kolkata. With this retail store expansion, the count has now reached to 20 stores in the country which are spread across all major cities.
While speaking about this launch, Vishal Trehan, Business Head, Forever New India, said, “It gives me immense pleasure to showcase the newest Forever New store in Kolkata this year. Kolkata is very fashion forward and stylish, which makes it very special to Forever New. Launching the store here in Quest has been a natural progression in achieving another milestone for the brand. East has always been a very important market for us and we aim to launch more stores here in Kolkata as well as expand into North Eastern cities like Guwahati and Shillong which has got great potentials” The store decor essentially evokes the spirit of a high-end wardrobe which has been amalgamated in a very meticulous manner with the brand’s retail design strategy. Trehan adds, “we have interesting elements like the Kidney table, we have recreated the way our style room looks and introduced colours like beige instead of red upholstery that is present in other stores. But the core brand handwriting is the same for this as well as we ensure that the look and feel of the brand remains the same for every city." The highlight of the launch was the fashion showcase where models were styled by the Forever New stylists in chic pieces from the latest collection, ‘Park Avenue’. This range has an inventive twist with traditional floral and laces made in innovative fabrics. When asked about Pan India expansion plans, Trehan further adds, “Very recently we have ventured into cities like Jaipur and Hyderabad and both of them are doing extremely well. Further, we have chalked out a road map regarding our retail footprints. We have signed further stores in Ludhiana, Noida, also Gujarat has emerged as an important market for us. We are also present in 24 S-I-S throughout the country. In B-towns we are looking at the ‘retail model of accessories store’ and also through our portal we are catering the most to these tier I and II cities. Indian customers being educated, fashion and price conscious we have even created the free styling departments at each store where we guide our clients on their look. The brand is looking at investing 4 billion dollars for retail expansions and inventions by next year.”
