Deities At Diwali

Spain-based global luxury brand, Lladro, known for its porcelain figurines, recently tailored its collection to suit its Indian audience; a fact well-expressed through its collection of Indian gods and goddesses.

I t was Diwali and what better time to showcase Indian deities. Diwali is a highly celebrated time and rejoices the homecoming of Lord Ram. And Lladro thus wanted its window focus as Ram Darbar. With this concept in mind, Fictive Clan drew the idea of a temple or palace structure as a display dais for the deities. The structure with its exquisite details leaves no room for ambiguity. And we must say, the LED lights are the showstopper. Primarily made out of MDF, the temple display design creates a picture perfect scene with the trio Ram, Sita and Laxman at the centre and Hanuman at the feet of Ram. Window displays may be about displaying your pretty products, but when they convey a meaning you can relate to, it adds to the perception of beauty. This thoughtful display of products sets the equation right for a Diwali window. Crafted by hand, the display was showcased at seven Lladro stores across the country. As for its modularity, the design was created keeping practicality in mind and the temple comes in three pieces for logistical convenience. The domes are also kept separate and the entire unit is shipped in pieces which can be easily assembled at location.
