Max launches its fourth out­let in Kolkata


M ax, one of the lead­ing value fash­ion brand in the coun­try, launched its fourth store in Avani River­side Mall, Howrah, with the aim to ex­pand in the state of West Ben­gal. Spread across 10,600 sq ft, the new Max store will pro­vide cus­tomers a one stop shop for in­ter­na­tional styles at af­ford­able prices. The store stocks more than 10,000 de­signs across dif­fer­ent cat­e­gories in­clud­ing ap­parel, footwear and ac­ces­sories with ded­i­cated sec­tions for men, women and chil­dren.

Shar­ing his views on the growth strat­egy of the brand, Vas­anth Kumar, Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor,

Max said, “Be­ing the pi­o­neers of value fash­ion re­tail in the coun­try, we aim to take our of­fer­ing to cus­tomers across the na­tion. We cur­rently have a pres­ence of over 100 stores across 45 ci­ties and plan to ex­pand our re­tail foot­print fur­ther. Max is a brand syn­ony­mous to the grow­ing pop­u­la­tion of global In­di­ans who are trendy and fash­ion con­scious but at the same time, in­tel­li­gent shop­pers who seek value for money. We are cer­tain this store too will be wel­comed warmly by the dis­cern­ing res­i­dents of Kolkata.” The brand also plans to con­tinue in­vest­ment in this re­gion through in­no­va­tive, for­ward-look­ing business strate­gies to mark its dom­i­nance in the value fash­ion mar­ket to cater to its fo­cussed TG. With the new store launch, Max Win­ter ’14 was also un­veiled by Ben­gali ac­tress Nus­rat Ja­han. The Win­ter ’14 Col­lec­tion for women is a blend of trends in con­ven­tional and global in­flu­ences. Max re­tails out of its own pri­vate la­bel mer­chan­dise which is cre­ated by a team of in-house de­sign­ers to suit the In­dian sen­si­bil­i­ties.
