The fur­nish­ings brand is based at Me­herc­hand mar­ket of the cap­i­tal city of­fer­ing con­tem­po­rary de­signs and tra­di­tional crafts from across the globe.

Nur, a fur­nish­ing brand, re­cently un­veiled its fla­ship out­let in New Delhi. With a sprawl­ing area of 1800 sq.ft, the store is spread over four floors where each floor is ded­i­cated to dif­fer­ent prod­uct cat­e­gories rang­ing from fash­ion ac­ces­sories, bath and fur­nish­ings, table­ware and decor. Also, the prod­ucts in the store and their dis­play re­flect the aes­thet­ics of clean and classy de­sign used to dec­o­rate one’s home. On this as­so­ci­a­tion, Aman Bahl, Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor, Nur, said, “Tech­nol­ogy and tra­di­tional craft is highly im­por­tant to us and all our ef­forts are di­rected to­wards cre­at­ing de­sign clas­sics that pos­i­tively stim­u­late our en­vi­ron­ment, en­rich­ing it with colour and form.” Adding to this, Ra­jika Thareja, Cre­ative Dirce­tor, Nur, said, “Colour is key to us and so is cul­ture and beauty. We syn­the­sise the dis­tinct pe­cu­liar­i­ties from dif­fer­ent cul­tures in a man­ner that re­flect global trends and in­spire our daily rit­u­als.” A prom­i­nent fea­ture of the store is the wind­ing wooden stair­way that lends an artis­tic edge to the store. In ad­di­tion, the walls are adorned with art that adds a lot of character to the build­ing and blends in very well with the prod­ucts. The cre­ations are by Mekhala Bahl, who has show­cased her work in var­i­ous shows in In­dia and abroad.
