Thanks to the combined push of the Brick-and-mortar and the online store consumption and the experience expectation bars are being constantly being raised. Despite the rapid growth of online stores the Brick-andmortar have evolved to show that they are to stay to deliver unparalleled experience in their physical spaces. We present stories from diverse formats like chocolates, kids fashion, department stores etc. that testify the need for delivering focussed experience in the buying process to be successful. The retail trends section features a story on how modern day department stores are addressing the todays needs of new age customers.
