Late last year, Messe Düsseldorf sealed a close, long-term cooperation deal with In-Store Asia organiser, Thought Shows & Events and formed a new company with equal participation between Messe Düsseldorf India Ltd. and In-store Asia called Excosa.
For the first time, In-Store Asia which is the largest Retail Fair for Retail Design and Instore Marketing in the Indian sub-continent, made its presence at EuroShop 2017 - Global Competence Lounge along with C Star and EuroCIS at the North Entrance of Messe Dusseldorf. Through this, In-Store Asia successfully connected and networked with many Brands, Retailers and Architects from various countries. In-Store Asia also received great branding and visibility through outdoor and indoor promotions at Messe Dusseldorf. “India is one of the most rapidly expanding national economies in the world with its modern retail growing at a pace of 21%. Our participation as part of the Euroshop family this year was a great kick-start for harnessing global opportunities for a much larger InStore Asia 2018 to partner the retail growth in India. At EuroShop 2017, I was particularly interested in witnessing the growing trend of integrating fixture and lighting as well fixture and technology.” explained Vasant Jante, Founder & MD, Thought Shows & Events.
Talking about the Indian exhibitors and visitors at EuroShop 2017, Elke shares, “We reckon our cooperation with In-Store Asia in India will produce good medium and long-term effects and that we can expect more Indian exhibitors and visitors in the future.
