De­vel­op­ments in the mar­ket­place across the world are clearly in­di­cat­ing that the om­nichan­nel age will set upon us faster than we think. Dig­i­ti­za­tion, the col­lab­o­ra­tion of the online and the off­line is in­deed tak­ing the re­tail world by storm glob­ally pow­ered by tech­nol­ogy. Mean­while, in the phys­i­cal re­tail space we have seen a new phe­nom­e­non of the in­te­gra­tion of con­ven­tional store de­sign ma­te­ri­als to cre­ate in­spir­ing shop­ping en­vi­ron­ments. For ex­am­ple, fix­tures have in­te­grated with light­ing, light­ing with floor­ing, light­ing with mu­sic, mir­rors with so­cial me­dia etc., like never be­fore.

The Euroshop fea­ture presents this new trend that was the high­light of the show this year which fea­tured many fan­tas­tic col­lab­o­ra­tive ideas to dig­i­tize and emo­tion­al­ize mar­ket places for the new-age con­nected cus­tomer. The cover story of the all new Road­ster Life Co. fea­tures the col­lab­o­ra­tion of store de­sign with tech­nol­ogy which de­liv­ers a unique tech trans­formed brand ex­pe­ri­ence at its dig­i­tized phys­i­cal store.

Along with tech­nol­ogy is the grow­ing im­por­tance of the use of cu­ra­tive de­sign think­ing in in­spir­ing, en­gag­ing and con­vert­ing customers in-store. The In­dian de­sign sec­tion fea­tures some new and in­spir­ing cu­rated con­cepts of store de­sign that present the use of art in de­sign and dis­play in the In­dian mar­ket­place.

The win­dow dis­play sec­tion presents some in­ter­est­ing con­cepts that are a tes­ti­mony to these new trends across In­dian and Global mar­kets when chang­ing over to the new sea­son.
