Of­fer­ing in­tri­cate In­dian mo­tifs as de­sign ele­ments for dif­fer­ent spa­ces, Chennai based Smart Cre­ations is a two-decade old com­pany which is into Golden Tem­ple ar­chi­tec­ture and has com­pleted over 3500 tem­ples across var­i­ous re­gions of In­dia and few in­ter­na­tional des­ti­na­tions as well. Re­cently, Smart Cre­ations has been in­volved in cre­at­ing brass as well as gold plat­ing decor ele­ments in Hamsa Res­tau­rant, Chennai. They cre­ated wall pan­els, chan­de­lier, jal­lis, wall arts etc for the space. De­scrib­ing the de­sign of the am­bi­ence, Pankaj Bhan­dari, MD of Mantra, of the am­bi­ence ex­plains, “Hamsa in south sig­ni­fies peace, hap­pi­ness and spir­i­tu­al­ity. The res­tau­rant is owned by Nithin Kalki­raju, while the ar­chi­tect is Sunny Akber. We have used the prod­uct made up of bronze to give it an au­then­tic look, while all the ac­ces­sories we de­signed are with Hamsa as the main con­cept.” The entrance has bells of bronze, while mov­ing inside a chan­de­lier is made of hang­ing brass lamps of Hamsa, in var­i­ous sizes. Smart Cre­ations has also repli­cated the in­tri­cate sand­stone work seen on wall onto sheet me­tal, while lovely bronze can­dle stands adorn­ing the ta­bles as a fin­ish­ing touch.
