Bri­tish re­tailer Top­shop chose “Wish” as their theme of their hol­i­day win­dow com­pris­ing sen­sor tech­nol­ogy and stark com­mu­ni­ca­tion read­ing the theme. Top­shop worked with two UK-based agen­cies to ex­e­cute their win­dows – Lucky Fox and Blacks Vi­su­als.

Top­shop & Top­man White City Flag­ship win­dows and Ox­ford Street in­te­ri­ors, ex­e­cuted by Blacks Vis­ual, fea­tured a se­ries of ty­po­graph­i­cal neon plus Christ­mas ‘Wish’ phrases. In­spired by the magic and an­tic­i­pa­tion around Christ­mas, the halo glow of the lights is set against a back­drop of white sheer cur­tains. An in­fi­nite se­ries of ‘Wish’ phrases hang­ing from the ceil­ing cre­ate the il­lu­sion of a 3 di­men­sional van­ish­ing point while an army of gold glit­ter em­bel­lished man­nequins poised on a se­ries of il­lu­mi­nated, coloured pur­ple translu­cent lit bases cre­ated a run­way of party ‘sea­son’ in­spired key looks for the sea­son. Lucky Fox has worked with Top­shop and Top­man to trans­form their flag­ship Lon­don win­dows into an in­ter­ac­tive cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence to her­ald in Christ­mas 2017. Aim­ing to bring the fun back into Christ­mas shop­ping, the in­ter­ac­tive in­stal­la­tion in­vited the pub­lic to step inside the glass struc­tures within built walk­ways. Thanks to sen­sor tech­nol­ogy, shop­pers en­ter­ing the glass cubes were met with a chim­ing sound­track, a heady pine scent, man­nequins and fall­ing snow as if en­ter­ing a mod­ern day Nar­nia!
