In­dus OS joins hands with FreeCharge

In­dus OS, the in­dige­nous Made for In­dia OS; the World’s First Re­gional Op­er­at­ing Sys­tem, and FreeCharge, In­dia’s lead­ing dig­i­tal pay­ments plat­form – un­veiled Recharge 2.0, a game-chang­ing prod­uct in­te­grated within the smart­phone di­aler in­ter­face to­day.

Recharge 2.0 on the In­dus Di­aler will, for the first time ever, em­power and al­low for a seam­less and sim­pli­fied recharge ex­pe­ri­ence for In­dian smart­phone users pow­ered through FreeCharge.

Recharge 2.0 aims to bridge this gap and in­tro­duce fea­tures that pro­vide com­pre­hen­sive anal­y­sis on us­age pat­terns along­side real-time up­dates to of­fer more con­trol in the hands of pre-paid users. Pow­ered by an OS-level in­te­gra­tion pi­o­neered by In­dus OS, Recharge 2.0 en­cour­ages smart us­age of pre­paid balance along with a su­pe­rior and in­tu­itive mo­bile recharge ex­pe­ri­ence pow­ered by FreeCharge. this year, the com­pany had tied up with IRCTC to pro­vide a pay­ment gate­way, al­low­ing users one-tap pay­ments for rail ticket book­ings.

It has also col­lab­o­rated with SmartD, a food or­der­ing plat­form where it acts as the pay­ment medium and also helps con­sumers ap­por­tion and man­age their day to day ex­penses.

Pre­vi­ously, the com­pany had a tieup with ICICI Bank to launch a recharge fa­cil­ity for Delhi Metro cards. MMPL also launched the Open Loop pre­paid, VISA pow­ered, card in part­ner­ship with RBL Bank (Rat­nakar Bank). By ob­tain­ing a PayS­mart card, mRUPEE cus­tomers can with­draw money from VISA li­censed ATMs and pay for goods and ser­vices at all mer­chants that ac­cept VISA Debit/ Credit cards na­tion­ally.
