A GUY (PART-I) (Poem)

Woman's Era - - Contents - – Anshu Gupta.

I sat in the corner, excusing myself from the crowd, There were too many people and the music was loud. I went to a side with a drink of cola in my hand, Before I was about to leave, I met a guy unplanned. He was busy searching for some answers in the sky, Noticing his face, I could guess he was not like an ordinary guy. There was something in his face and eyes, which perplexed me; He was truthful, honest and innocent, is all I could foresee. Something made me ask him, “Do you need any help?” He turned to me and simply smiled at my offer of help. He just asked if I could go with him for a little walk? My mouth popped out an immediate “Yes” and I was shocked. We talked, we laughed, we cried, we enjoyed. And now I feel I was a bit cracked, For letting him go without knowing where he could be tracked. Back home, each night I pray to meet him again, From thinking about him, my mind cannot abstain.
