Ac­tor Vi­jay Sethu­pathi won the Amitabh Bachchan Youth Icon Award. Spe­cial Jury Award was bagged by Maana­garam di­rected by Lokesh Kana­garaj. Spe­cial Jury Men­tion Cer­tifi­cate was given to Bharathi­raja for his per­for­mance in Ku­rangu Bom­mai.

PRAKASHRAJ AP­PEARS as a se­nior po­lice of­fi­cial in Traf­fic Ra­masamy and he has gone on record stat­ing that he deems it a priv­i­lege to be a part of the project in which S.a.chan­drasekaran is play­ing the ti­tle role. Ro­hini ap­pears as SAC’S bet­ter half.

VI­JAY MIL­TON’S Goli Soda was ac­claimed both crit­i­cally and com­mer­cially. Goli Soda 2, pro­duced un­der the ban­ner, Rough Note fea­tures Sa­muthi­rakani, Chem­ban Jose, Bharath Seeni, Vinoth, Isaac Bharath, Su­bik­sha, Kr­isha, Rak­shita, Ro­hini, Rekha, Sar­a­vana Sub­biah and Stunt Shiva in im­por­tant roles and di­rec­tor Gau­tham Va­sudeva Menon ap­pears in a vi­tal cameo role.

MRKS CINE ME­DIA’S Aaraam Thi­nai has an un­usual theme of ghosts set against the back­drop of places in­hab­ited by ghosts. Arun C. has writ­ten and wielded this flick that has Vaishalini of Vi­jay TV fame in the lead role. Mot­tai Ra­jen­dran, Ravi Maria and Lavanya are also in the cast.
