It was driz­zling oc­ca­sion­ally, not an ideal weather for vis­it­ing a park. In some parks a sep­a­rate area is marked for the chil­dren’s play area with var­i­ous equip­ment like slides. An im­pres­sive wa­ter foun­tain in a park was in­ter­est­ing that added a touch of beauty and nov­elty. The city has a few apart­ment blocks and high-rise build­ings hous­ing of­fices, banks and res­i­dences. The novel fea­ture of a park was the elec­tronic dis­play stand that showed the date, time and tem­per­a­ture that was upto-date. Well-paved walk-path­ways and well-kept trees and plants at­tracted my at­ten­tion in the parks and gar­dens we vis­ited. The or­na­men­tal lamp stands with glass cover in parks and gar­dens were lovely. The dis­play of the pro­file of a fish on top of a rock in a park was a fea­ture in the park. Pud­dles of wa­ter on the ground made walk­ing slightly dif­fi­cult. Or­na­men­tal arches made up of thin wires were a novel fea­ture in a park that en­hanced the aes­thet­ics. The last park to visit had two flights of steps lead­ing up to a view­ing gallery. De­spite the in­clement weather, we spot­ted a few pi­geons in the var­i­ous parks and gar­dens we vis­ited.

As we were ap­proach­ing our ho­tel, I got a call from the ho­tel man­ager who wanted to know whether I would ap­prove of the ex­tra charges that would ap­ply as our tour was over three hours as we had agreed. I con­sented to this and was pleased to pay the ex­tra
