How and when did your tryst with acting theatre happen?
I have always enjoyed being on stage. My personality to a large extent was groomed by being up there. Theatre is like an exercise for all the artists which refines you.
Have you always wanted to become an actress?
Yes, for as long as I remember I always wanted be an actress. In fact, I was addressed as the drama queen in the house by my flatmates. And I completely enjoy being called by that title!
How was the experience of working with noted theatre actors like Ratna Pathak Shah?
Ratna ma’am is a lady of few words. She made me extremely comfortable on the set. I was at awe while I was working with her. Her experience showed in her performance.
What can be expected from the second season of Inside Edge?
Too much drama and too many scams! It’s going to be completely packed with thrills and suspense making it very entertaining.
Tell us about your character in Inside Edge 2.
My character has different layers and shades of suspense. You will have to wait to see it!
Do you plan to experiment with mainstream Bollywood cinema? Or do you wish to continue doing theatre?
I love being in front of the camera and that’s one place I always want to be in. You will see me in mainstream Bollywood cinema very soon!
What other future projects will we see you in?
Currently besides Inside Edge-2, I am busy with an upcoming theatre show and am simultaneously shooting for other projects. So, yeah, my hands are full at the moment and I am excited for that!
