SRI LANKAN KHEER WITH CO­CONUT MILK

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS:

300 ml co­conut milk 1 cup small grained cooked rice 3 tsp su­gar or more as per taste 3 tbsp con­densed milk

METHOD

Place the cooked rice in a pan with 4 tbsp water. Heat the rice and then add co­conut milk and su­gar and con­tinue to cook and stir till the rice soft­ens fur­ther. Add con­densed milk and stir gen­tly.

Cook till the de­sired con­sis­tency is reached and su­gar dis­solved com­pletely.

Serve at room tem­per­a­ture or chilled.
