The big­gest in­ter­na­tional hospi­tal­ity group, Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional – In­done­sia com­mem­o­rated its sec­ond M-day – also known as Mar­riott Day – in 2017 with a “Get to Know Us” event last June at The Beach Club at Court­yard by Mar­riott Bali Nusa Dua Re­sort. M-day is a quar­terly event where Mar­riott prop­er­ties around the world gather to ex­plain to cus­tomers and part­ners about Mar­riott's brand val­ues, re­in­force re­la­tion­ships with ex­ist­ing part­ners and es­tab­lish new ones.

The event is also aimed at in­tro­duc­ing the vast and grow­ing port­fo­lio of Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional brands within the Bali and Lom­bok re­gions, by high­light­ing each brand's unique char­ac­ter so that the cus­tomers can see the di­verse op­tions to choose from. Par­tic­i­pat­ing in the events were 16 op­er­at­ing ho­tels and three more to open. On the Pre­mium Port­fo­lio front, there were Le Meri­dien Bali Jim­baran, Sthala Ubud Bali – A Trib­ute Port­fo­lio, The Westin Re­sort Nusa Dua Bali, Sher­a­ton Bali Kuta Re­sort, Sher­a­ton Seng­gigi Beach Re­sort, The Stones Ho­tel Le­gian Bali – Au­to­graph Col­lec­tion and the soon-to-open re­nais­sance Bali Uluwatu Re­sort & Spa. Last but not least was the Se­lect Port­fo­lio, com­pris­ing Court­yard by Mar­riott Bali
