As part of Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional's cel­e­bra­tion of In­done­sia's na­tional day, seven of Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional's ho­tels took part in the sec­ond edi­tion of the highly an­tic­i­pated In­done­sia Culi­nary Jour­ney 2017. While the pro­mo­tion pe­riod var­ied at the par­tic­i­pat­ing Mar­riott In­ter­na­tional's ho­tels, guests of JW Mar­riott Ho­tel Jakarta's Sailen­dra Restau­rant en­joyed the culi­nary fes­ti­val from 10th to 20th Au­gust.

Guests dis­cov­ered a wide range of au­then­tic regional cuisines cel­e­brat­ing the di­ver­sity of tastes across the archipelago.

Each of the seven ho­tels pre­sented sig­na­ture In­done­sian dishes crafted by their culi­nary teams. The lus­cious culi­nary mas­ter­pieces in­cluded au­then­tic nasi tu­tug on­com by JW Mar­riott Ho­tel Jakarta, tan­ta­lis­ing nasi goreng kamb­ing by The Mayflower Ex­ec­u­tive Apart­ments, Jakarta, clas­sic nasi ulam kom­plit by The Westin Jakarta, smoky tuna asap saus mangut by Ker­a­ton at the Plaza, a Lux­ury Col­lec­tion Ho­tel, Jakarta, tender kluwek se­mur dag­ing sapi by Le Meri­dien Jakarta, de­lec­ta­ble taste of In­done­sia by The Her­mitage, a Trib­ute Port­fo­lio Ho­tel, Jakarta and the heav­enly ikan pecak betawi by Sher­a­ton Grand Jakarta, Gan­daria City Ho­tel. mar­riott.com
