Asia Dreams - - FASHION -

Offering a collection of different experiences, including short breaks, lengthier adventures, the iconic trans-atlantic crossings and extraordinary roundthe-world cruises – with destinations including Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and more, Cunard Line promises passengers exceptional big-ship extravagance with a heady Golden-era approach. Backed by timeless Cunard service and fantastic facilities, your cruise will feature lavish accommodation, superb dining and an extravagant array of on-board entertainment including balls, theatres and sports.

Once seen as the domain of the rich and famous, taking a Cunard Line luxury cruise is a lavish affair, and one that requires careful planning as each ship and destination offers passengers a unique and different experience. The cruises also sell out quickly, so once you have chosen your route and selected your ship, advance booking is highly recommended and bookings are already being taken for 2020.

The names of the three-strong Cunard fleet are instantly recognisable: the flagship of the fleet, the 2,691-passenger Queen Mary 2; the 1,988-passenger Queen Victoria; and the 2,068-passenger Queen

Elizabeth, with a fourth, as yet unnamed, ship set to debut in 2022.

Following its renovation in 2016, The Queen Mary 2 is a worthy standard bearer for this famous cruise line and offers passengers the most formal of experiences where every suite and stateroom is a personal oasis and its innumerable restaurants celebrate the finest international cuisines.

Found both fore and aft on the upper levels, the Queens Grill offers the largest and most lavish suites on board. They have the most spectacular views and, with the exclusive Grills Lounge, private terrace with whirlpool and restaurant, offer passengers the opportunity to relax in tranquil luxury. A personal butler will attend to your every need and the vast spaces include a large lounge and dining area for in-suite decadence. On board, passengers can enjoy fantastic dining, the romance of the Promenade Deck, dancing in the Queens Room, sports, the theatre, shopping and the Planetarium, aside from relaxation in the pools, on deck or in the spa.

The newest ship in the fleet, the Queen Elizabeth, is designed to evoke the heyday of Hollywood glamour. The wood panelling, gleaming chandeliers, marble flooring and beautiful decorative touches exude luxury and elegance. The entertainment is equally as evocative, with live musicians at the many bars and clubs, but the heart and soul of the Queen Elizabeth is the Queens Room, a lavish ballroom where every night there is ballroom and Latin dancing before and after dinner. The other big evening events are shows in the stunning theatre, which includes 20 VIP boxes for that Albert Hall feel.

The accommodation follows the same pattern as the Queen Mary 2 with the handmade upholstery and light hues of the Queens Grill offering both the largest and best positioned suites and staterooms. The Grills restaurants offer the most exceptional food and service at sea, while the grand Britannia Restaurant reflects the classic golden age of ocean travel. The famous Cunard Afternoon Tea, relaxed Golden Lion pub and the sophisticated Commodore Club are just a few of the other highlights waiting to be enjoyed.

Cunard's smallest cruise liner, the Queen Victoria, is currently undergoing a minor refit but bookings are being taken for late 2018 onwards. The refit aims to effortlessly blend all that is fabulous about the great Cunard liners of the past with fine wood detailing and brass fixtures mixed with modern comfort and luxury. cunard.com
