Agung Rai Mu­seum of Art (ARMA) Ubud

20 in­dige­nous per­form­ing groups, 180 in­dige­nous per­form­ers, 32 dif­fer­ent in­dige­nous cul­tures, 7 dif­fer­ent coun­tries, 15 hours of dance, mu­sic, sto­ries and songs will all come to­gether for three days at the In­dige­nous Fes­ti­val to hon­our an­cient wis­dom and to cel­e­brate di­ver­sity and deep an­ces­tral con­nec­tions through a spec­tac­u­lar col­lab­o­ra­tive dis­play of mu­sic, dance and art and shar­ing be­tween in­dige­nous and non-in­dige­nous par­tic­i­pants. A non-profit event, money left over from ticket sales and spon­sor­ships will be do­nated to reg­is­tered In­done­sian Yayasan and Char­i­ties that pre­serve the cul­ture and en­vi­ron­ment of in­dige­nous com­mu­ni­ties. For ev­ery ticket pur­chase, a tree will be planted in Kal­i­man­tan and fund in­dige­nous artists to come to the event and be in­volved. www.in­dige­nouscel­e­bra­tion.art
