Sit back and relax with an Alaya Sling, a heavenly concoction of gin, lychee liqueur, cherry brandy, DOM, basil, ginger and pineapple juice. Helming the kitchen is Executive Chef Siharta, the former personal chef to Ubud’s royal family. Specialising in long lost recipes from across the archipelago, Petani Restaurant is the perfect place to try Indonesian cuisine for the first time or to get your fix if you’re a connoisseur. Nasi Raja, a rijstaffel-style aristocratic dish served during ceremonies, is a signature specialty that is as beautifully presented as it is delicious. The 120-seat dining room offers a new and exciting venue for private events with interiors that reflect an eclectic mix of the avant-garde. Petani’s coffee bar boasts a special 70th edition La Marzocco espresso machine, often referred to as the Rolls Royce of coffee machines. Showcasing many of the island’s most talented musicians, Petani guests are treated to live musical performances during dinner.
