For its 2016 edition, the
(SIHH) opened its doors to nine independent watch makers. This new open doors policy will apparently continue in 2017 as the exclusive trade show will welcome seven more brands. These will reportedly include Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin, as well as five additional independent watchmakers: RJ-Romain Jerome, Grönefeld, MCT, Ressence and Speake-Marin. Even more exciting, however, is the announcement that SIHH will open its door to the public on the very last day of the show. Unsurprisingly, the public tickets will be limited and rather pricey, but interest is expected to remain high. It would also seem that participating brands are more than happy with these new arrangements as it would allow them to directly connect with their final clients.
