Prada’s short film “Past Forward,” which was released in November last year, was apparently only the first of many surreal visual creations to come from the Italian fashion house. More recently, Prada unveiled a new marketing concept dubbed Prada365, which would deliver a continuous stream of new images throughout the year. So, instead of showing a singular idea for an entire season, there will be multiple narratives. Their spring/summer ’ 17 campaign is the first stage in this new approach and showcases five Prada “realities:” pathways, frontiers, stations, exits and terrains. Jude Law takes on the lead role in the campaign’s film noir-ish landscape by Willy Vanderperre. An accompanying black-and-white short video titled “A Story” shows the British actor wandering contemplatively across sandy dunes.
