has fully embraced the two tone approach with the Heritage Black Bay Steel and Gold, aka the Black Bay S&G as it is known among fans of the brand. This is essentially the same Black Bay watch with a 41mm case we’re all familiar with, but with a stunning aesthetic update. See, the gold you see is not a PVD coating, but are instead gold-capped components—which is similar to gold-fill in vintage watches. This technique allows for a more durable gold layer which is also thicker. And powering the Black Bay S&G is the caliber MT5612, the same one used for the Black Bay Steel and the Pelagos from a couple of years ago.
